Canvas 2019 – An Inter Departmental Competition

The Department of Business Administration at ABES EC held a management game show event, Canvas 2019 on 9th Nov, 2019. The event had a wide range of competitions like Business quiz, Business plan and summer training project report role play. All the students have participated wholeheartedly and with great momentum. The guest of honor Mr. Anmol Kumar of NCHM gave a motivating and inspirational speech to the students at the inaugural of the event. The Students were felicitated with trophies and certificates for securing the winning positions and participating in the event.

BRANDISH- Simulation Game Organised by MANTIS

Department of Business Administration, ABES Engineering College in association with MANTIS one of the few global organizations that is present in the entire spectrum from pre-design game analysis to post-game learning research, including design, development, and delivery of management simulation games is organizing BRANDISH India’s first marketing simulation game on 27th and 28th February 2019.

BRANDISH is a simulation game for students studying management. Participants will deal with FMCG products, IMC (integrated marketing communications), trade and consumer promotions, sales, and marketing budgets. In addition to budget-driven marketing decisions, students may creatively explore issues such as brand names, logos, advertisements, and taglines for the FMCG. It moves the students from the emotional and abstract objectives built around market share towards a street-smart, budget-driven, profit-centric and actionable orientation.

Extracurricular activities appeal student’s interests. Wider choices of activities result in a stronger effect because students’ individual needs and interests are more likely to be met. High quality extracurricular activities build relationships between students and the competent. Even the ranking and accreditation agencies like NIRF, NBA and NAAC provide a quality space to extracurricular activities.

ABESEC created and maintained 11 clubs to meet the above needs with academics, which involved around 1000 students managed by around 15-20 faculty members every year.

To honor all club participants including faculty members, we have planned an event to appreciate everyone’s efforts and hard work towards the growth of institutional development.
